retail as a conscious practice

the retail landscape has shifted significantly in the last decade and is continuously evolving. advancements in technology have transformed consumerism into a mindless desire for instant gratification without awareness of the source or impact of purchases. constantly at our fingertips we hold devices that can supply us with all the knowledge, entertainment and products we could dream up. we’ve been pulled away from the consciousness of our purchasing power - where we choose to spend our money is a much larger force than we recognize.

my mission is to support small brands who practice sustainability, who use dexterity in their craft, and who have a deeper purpose. i strive to make connections between those artists and retailers aligned with these ideologies to bring awareness to their stories and the beauty of their work.
