solange knowles home shot by jody rogac for apartmento magazine

the home is a sanctuary. it is where we spend our most precious moments and where we escape the trials of daily life. i am eternally inspired by nature, from cosmic wonders to microscopic mechanisms that fuel all life around us. we have an undeniable connectedness to the natural world and bringing those colors, textures and patterns into our homes surrounds us with our true essence.

i love discovering unique and interesting pieces for the home. my favorite weekend mornings are spent scouring flea markets, visiting my favorite antique stores and collecting inspiration from the world around me. combining timeless, one of a kind vintage items with modern silhouettes creates intrigue in the story of a room. i love the juxtaposition of seemingly different styles and unexpected combinations of objects and furnishings.

  • a dream

i have been daydreaming for quite some time about shifting my creativity into styling interior spaces. after buying home product for almost 10 years and curating my own apartment in brooklyn heights, i’ve found so much joy in creating spaces that are beautiful, functional and timeless. i thrive in the hunt for the perfect pieces, blending modern and vintage pieces to create interest and tell a story of who i am and how i see the world.
